Easy Low Fat Meals – That You Can Cook! – A Collaborative Post
Eating Healthy doesn’t have to be difficult. In fact there are so many ways to enjoy food without going on a major diet, yet so often people begin diets and then fail. They then sabotage their efforts by giving up and eating the worst kind of foods. I find October, November and December are always genuinely hard months to follow a healthy lifestyle.
When people are determined that they’re going to eat healthy, eating really healthy is all they do. Salads and massively dropping calories are their new best friend. But this is where so many people fail. The boringness of a diet leads to snacking and eventually giving up.
Well eating healthy doesn’t have to be a pain. There’s plenty of low fat recipes that you can happily substitute for the junk food you love so much. These are all family favourites too. Read on to find out more.

Yep, that’s right, beef burgers can be healthy for you. In fact, they’re really nutritious, it is all down to the way we cook them and what we put on them. All you need to do is make sure you’re getting some low fat fresh halal beef, or normal beef whichever you prefer.
For beef to be low fat you would generally want the percentage to be 5% or less and the meat to be lean. If you’ve got something like a George Foreman grill, then great, but the pan will also do just fine.
Don’t use olive oil, use light spray sunflower oil. A lot of them are only 1 calorie per spray, and you only need a spray or two.
A much healthier alternative to a fast food burger would be to cook and garnish your own burger with a homemade relish, lettuce, tomato, onion, and whatever else you might like – potato wedges are a firm favourite in our house, or you could do cook sweet potatoes wedges if you’re looking for the lower carb option.
